Yim Si-wan and Seol In-ah will find themselves at the center of a relationship that is complicated, to say the least, in their new drama « Love in Disguise ». The actor plays Yoon Yi-jun, the third-generation heir to a powerful conglomerate who becomes a suspect in a murder case, while Seol In-ah plays Kang Jae-hee, a former special forces operative tasked with investigating him. To get closer to her target, she pretends to be a man and tries to become his personal secretary.
After recently showing Yi-jun beginning to develop feelings for her mysterious secretary, the drama now looks back at the start of their relationship. In a new teaser, Jae-hee must first manage to get hired by the man she’s supposed to be watching… and the interview takes a rather unexpected turn when she ends up promising him to «love him unconditionally.».

Before she can discreetly investigate Yi-jun, Jae-hee must make her cover story convincing enough to gain access to his inner circle.
The teaser first plays on her transformation. Despite her masculine appearance, Jae-hee seems to make quite an impression: several women make no secret of the fact that they find her attractive. The contrast is immediate when someone then discovers her true identity and asks her in surprise, «Inspector, are you a woman?»
But her disguise is far from her only asset. Jae-hee has a particularly impressive background. A former special forces member and martial arts expert, she possesses the skills needed to handle the demands of her future employer while secretly continuing her investigation.
All that remains is to convince Yoon Yi-jun to hire him. And the heir to the Taegang Group doesn’t seem willing to accept just anyone by his side. During their interview, he clearly states what he expects from his personal secretary: «Regardless of gender, my personal secretary must put me before absolutely everything else. Unconditionally.»
This request leaves Jae-hee hesitating for a few moments. For Yi-jun, that’s enough. He immediately tells her that her application has been «rejected.».
«I will love you unconditionally!»
However, Jae-hee can’t afford to let this opportunity slip away. Without this job, she won’t be able to stay close enough to Yi-jun to investigate him. So she reacts immediately to his refusal and hastens to tell him, «I’ll love you unconditionally!»
A statement that, of course, is anything but romantic at this point. Jae-hee is primarily trying to maintain her cover and secure the position she needs for her mission.
A deliberately exaggerated statement that pretty much sums up the situation Jae-hee has just put herself in. To carry out her investigation, the former special forces operative will have to pretend to be a man, become the personal secretary of the suspect she’s monitoring, and, above all, convince this particularly demanding heir that he now comes before everything else.
Between his eye-catching disguise and the conditions Yi-jun imposed from their very first professional meeting, this undercover mission seems bound to run into a few complications.
