On August 11, several Korean media outlets reported that ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo had reportedly chosen «Seorabeol Knife» (working title) as his first drama following his discharge from military service.

«Seorabeol Knife» is billed as a romantic drama centered on cooking.

If she accepts the project, Moon Ga-young will play Princess Deokyeong, a seonggol, that is, a woman belonging to the highest rank of the Silla royal nobility and descended from a royal lineage considered pure.

Her character dreams of becoming the first queen of Silla. A deeply devout woman and exceptionally curious, Deokyeong has a highly refined taste for perfumes and fine dining, as well as an eye for calligraphy and painting that is said to be unmatched in the kingdom.

The male protagonist, owner and chef of a Michelin-starred restaurant, finds himself thrust into 1,000 years ago following a mysterious prophecy. Upon arriving in Silla, he meets Deokyeong, a princess who is also an extremely discerning foodie.
