Middle school, high school, and then college—all for girls only: Gong Yeon-su has spent much of her life keeping men at arm’s length. Yet her job will soon force her to confront a world that’s the polar opposite of her upbringing. New stills from « Make Me Tingle »trace the journey of the character Nam Ji-hyun before his work in the adult products industry and his encounter with Kim Jae-young do not seriously challenge his convictions.

«Make Me Tingle» will tell the story of the meeting between Gong Yeon-su (Nam Ji-hyun), a woman who sincerely believes in love without having yet truly figured out what it means to her, and Dokgo Dal (Kim Jae-young), the CEO of a startup specializing in sex toys. The two characters’ views on love and intimacy couldn’t be more different. And to understand Yeon-su’s perspective, we have to go back to her upbringing.

As the eldest daughter of her family's main branch, she grew up in a traditional environment where she was taught to always behave properly. She applied this principle with almost unshakable seriousness.

In particular, Yeon-su strictly followed the old principle that «men and women should no longer sit together after the age of 7.» As a result, she attended an all-girls middle school, an all-girls high school, and then an all-women’s university, achieving what the production humorously describes as the «triple crown of girls» schools.”.

The new images date back to that period and offer insight into how his particularly conservative view of relationships took shape.

However, once she entered the workforce, Yeon-su proved to be much more adaptable than one might imagine. She became a marketer, a profession that requires her to quickly understand changes in society and spot new trends before anyone else.

In meetings, she therefore sets aside her usual caution. Quick on her feet and particularly perceptive, she has even established herself as one of the best employees at her company. That is, until the day her professional skills are put to the test by a situation for which no marketing trend can truly prepare her.

A professional role that strays far too far from his principles

Yeon-su is tasked with promoting sex toys. For a woman who remains extremely cautious even when it comes to physical displays of affection with her own boyfriend, the mission comes as a real shock.

The new scenes play precisely on this contrast. After seeing the professional, perfectly focused in a conference room, we see a much less comfortable Yeon-su when she finds herself face-to-face with the products she must now learn to sell.

And his client certainly isn't going to make things any easier. Dokgo Dal, in fact, runs a startup that specializes in these products and approaches issues of desire and relationships with far fewer taboos. Unlike Yeon-su, he doesn't necessarily view love and physical attraction as inseparable.

This conflict is likely to put the young woman in a rather paradoxical situation: her job requires her to understand, without prejudice, a market that directly conflicts with the principles that have guided her entire life.

Visit A recent teaser already showed Dal gradually pushing Yeon-su to question some of her ideas, until she herself began to see this man—whom she had initially found so far removed from her own world—in a very different light. These new images now help us understand where this resistance came from and why her encounter with Dal marked such a significant turning point.

Caught between her personal convictions, the demands of her job, and feelings that may soon become much less theoretical, Yeon-su may ultimately discover that the hardest part of this marketing campaign might be figuring out what she herself wants.

«Make Me Tingle» will premiere on October 15. No international streaming service has been announced yet, other than HBO Max.
