Do Kyung-soo (도경수), also known by his stage name D.O., is a South Korean singer and actor born on January 12, 1993, in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. A member of the group EXO since 2012, he quickly developed a parallel career as an actor under his real name.
He made his film debut in 2014 in Cart, before gaining attention that same year in the drama It’s Okay, That’s Love, in which he plays Han Kang-woo. In 2015, his unsettling role in Hello Monster confirms his dramatic talents.
Do Kyung-soo continues his film career with Pure Love alongside Kim So-hyun, and then My Annoying Brother, for which he won the Best New Actor award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. He also appeared in both installments of Along with the Gods and plays the lead role in Swing Kids, in which he plays a North Korean soldier who loves tap dancing.
On television, he achieved one of his greatest successes with 100 Days, My Prince in 2018. In this romantic sageuk, he plays Crown Prince Lee Yool, who loses his memory and is forced to live as an ordinary man. The drama was a huge hit with viewers and further boosted his popularity as an actor.
After completing his military service, he returned to television in 2022 with Bad Prosecutor, playing the role of Jin Jung, a prosecutor with unconventional methods. He continues his film career with The Moon in 2023, in which he plays an astronaut stranded in space.
In 2025, he shifted gears with a thriller The Manipulated, in which he plays Ahn Yo-han. His recent filmography also includes Secret: Untold Melody. Among his announced projects is the drama We Are the Zombies, in which he is set to play the lead role of Kim In-jong.
