What if the highest-paying student job of your life turned into your worst nightmare? Netflix has just released new images from « Dead-End Job » («Un Job Mortel» in French), his upcoming drama blending horror, mystery, and fantasy, starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Min-si, Kim Min-ha and Lee Hee-joon.

The series follows a young man deep in debt who takes on odd jobs that pay up to 50 times the usual hourly wage. It’s an offer that’s almost too good to be true… and one that hides unimaginable dangers. The new photos offer a glimpse into the terrifying situations the characters will face.

But behind these exceptional job offers lie workplaces where the usual rules no longer seem to apply.

In the first images, Hyeok-jun is seen, among other things, in the middle of a milk delivery, frozen in an unsettling atmosphere. Other photos show him facing a tense situation in a convenience store, a suspicious clown, or even completely unfamiliar places.

Each new assignment seems to draw him a little deeper into a world where supernatural events and threats are on the rise. This raises the question: Will Hyeok-jun manage to survive all these jobs?

Go Min-si and Kim Min-ha Confront Unexplained Phenomena

Go Min-si plays Yeon-ju, a mysterious woman who appears before Hyeok-jun after he experiences events that are impossible to explain.

She seems particularly interested in the secrets surrounding these high-paying odd jobs and in the mysterious Spider Staffing Agency, the agency that offers them. But her true intentions remain hard to pin down.

In the new photos, Yeon-ju alternates between a radiant smile and a completely blank stare. This contrast deepens the questions surrounding her character: Is she trying to help Hyeok-jun, or is she pursuing a personal goal?

For her part, Kim Min-ha plays Ji-yun, Hyeok-jun's younger sister, who also works part-time.

Although she is usually so brave that she isn't even afraid of ghosts, Ji-yun seems to be facing a situation that goes beyond anything she could have imagined. The first scene shows her in the middle of a phone conversation, visibly distressed and covered in sweat.

In another photo, she clutches an insecticide can in her hand while scanning her surroundings, bathed in a particularly eerie red light.

These scenes suggest that the dangers associated with these mysterious jobs won't affect just her brother.

Lee Hee-joon plays the unsettling boss of Spider Staffing Agency

At the heart of this strange case is a person who may hold some of the answers.

What does he know about the dangers his employees face? Why are these assignments so well-paid? And what is the agency’s true purpose? These are just some of the mysteries that «Dead-End Job» promises to explore as the story unfolds.

«Dead-End Job» will be available on Netflix October 30, 2026.
