Two years after the success of its first season, « Good Partner » is gearing up for its return with a partially revamped cast. According to exclusive information from Star News published on September 24, Jang Na-ra will reprise her role as Cha Eun-kyung in «Good Partner 2,» while Kim Hye-yoon will join the show as her new law partner.
A major change is therefore in store for viewers: Nam Ji-hyun, who played Han Yu-ri in the first season, will not be appearing in this sequel. Kim Hye-yoon will take her place at the center of the drama’s storyline, although the article does not yet specify the name or characteristics of her new character.
Park Hae-jin will also join the cast as a new male lead.

«Good Partner 2» will continue to follow Cha Eun-kyung, a lawyer specializing in divorce cases who now heads South Korea's leading law firm in that field.
This time, she’ll have to team up with a partner with whom she has a particularly difficult relationship in order to face a challenge she can’t avoid. Season 1 centered in particular on the contrast between Cha Eun-kyung, a star lawyer for whom divorce was almost a calling, and Han Yu-ri, a young lawyer who was still discovering this specialty. Their collaboration allowed the drama to explore the compromises and dilemmas that accompany the breakup of a family.
This time, Kim Hye-yoon will share the dynamic of two female lawyers with Jang Na-ra. However, the exact nature of their relationship remains to be seen. P.O (Pyo Ji-hoon) will also be returning for this second season.
