Jang Na-ra (Jang Na-ra) is a South Korean singer and actress born on March 18, 1981, in Seoul. She studied theater at Chung-Ang University before launching her music career in 2001 with the album First Story. It quickly became a success, thanks in large part to Sweet Dream, and she has also built a successful career in China.
At the same time, she made a name for herself on television starting in 2002 with The Success Story of a Bright Girl and My Love Patzzi. She then went on to play leading roles in Wedding, Baby-Faced Beauty and School 2013. In 2014, she regained widespread popularity with the romantic comedy Fated to Love Youfollowed by Mr. Back and Hello Monster.
She reaffirms her status as one of the leading actresses in South Korean television with Go Back Couple in 2017, The Last Empress in 2018 and V.I.P. in 2019. She continues with Oh My Baby, and then plays a real estate agent who can exorcise spirits in Sell Your Haunted House in 2021.
After Family: The Unbreakable Bond and My Happy Ending, in 2024 she plays the role of attorney Cha Eun-gyeong in Good Partner, one of her most memorable recent roles. She also reprises this role in Good Partner Season 2, scheduled for 2026.
In film, her filmography includes, among others, Oh! Happy Day, Sky and Ocean and Flying With You. In addition to her acting career, Jang Na-ra has released a substantial number of albums in Korean and Chinese, making her an artist who has been active in both music and television since the early 2000s.
