Cha Eun-kyung is back, and she's starting a new chapter! On October 16, « Good Partner 2 »unveiled a new poster announcing both the return of Jang Nara and the release date for Season 2: November 20, 2026.
Two years after a first season centered on the duo formed with Nam Ji-hyun, the star divorce lawyer is set to team up with a new partner, played by Kim Hye-yoon.

In this new poster, Cha Eun-kyung flashes the confident smile of a lawyer with a 20-year career. She left the Daejung law firm and founded her own practice, specializing in divorce and named «Spring Again.».
The detail that catches the eye is the empty chair placed next to her. It symbolizes the spot reserved for the future partner who will join her in this new chapter. The slogan takes a humorous approach, in the form of a classified ad: Cha Eun-kyung is looking for a partner for the second «divorce show.».
Kim Hye-yoon, a partner with a completely different background
In the first season, Jang Nara formed a duo with Nam Ji-hyun, who played Han Yu-ri, a young lawyer who was still new to divorce cases. The entire dynamic revolved around the contrast between the experienced lawyer and the novice.
Season 2 is a game-changer. Kim Hye-yoon plays Kang Hye-sung, a seasoned lawyer. The two women will become true «good partners» to one another, but in a more balanced relationship between two professionals who know their craft.
This development is expected to create a different dynamic than in the first season—and perhaps some friction between two strong personalities.
A Season That Goes Beyond Divorce
Behind the scenes, the team remains the same. The screenplay is once again written by Choi Yu-na, a real-life divorce attorney—a fact that was one of the strengths of the first season, thanks to its realistic cases rooted in everyday life. Seo Min-jung is once again directing.
However, the production team has announced that the show’s scope will be expanded. The series will no longer be limited to divorce proceedings; it will also explore the lives of clients after their separation and the decisions they must continue to make once the judgment has been handed down.
The team also promises a new phase of growth for Cha Eun-kyung, who will have to find her footing alongside a partner of her own caliber.
