P.O., whose real name is Pyo Ji-hoon (Pyo Ji-hoon) is a South Korean rapper, singer, and actor born on February 2, 1993, in Seoul. He is best known as the youngest member of the K-pop group Block B and its subunit Bastarz. He graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School in 2012.
Initially interested in acting, he also turned to hip-hop before making his debut with Block B in April 2011. Alongside his music career, he gradually began working in theater, variety shows, and television series. Notably, he made his stage debut in 2016 with Superman.com, a play in which he is also involved as a writer and producer.
His television acting career really took off with Temperature of Love in 2017. He followed that up with Encounter and Fluttering Warning/Love Alert in 2018, and then really made a name for himself in Hotel del Luna in 2019 as Ji Hyun-joong. He then played Jin Sang-hyuk in More Than Friends in 2020 and Detective Shin Sang in Mouse in 2021.
After completing his military service in the South Korean Marine Corps from March 2022 to September 2023, he resumed his artistic activities in full. In 2024, he performed Jeon Eun-ho in Good Partner, one of his most important roles on television, for which he won an Award of Excellence at the SBS Drama Awards.
In 2026, he played the lead role in Bong Geun-dae in Let that be a lesson to you! (Teach You a Lesson) and takes over Jeon Eun-ho's role in Good Partner Season 2. As for film, he also appeared in 2026 in No Kids, playing the role of Choi Seung-ho.
P.O is also a frequent guest on South Korean variety shows. In particular, he was a regular cast member on New Journey to the West, The Great Escape, Amazing Saturday/DoReMi Market and Kang's Kitchen. It is also announced in New Journey to the West: Season 9.
