Jin Ki-joo (Jin Ki-joo) is a South Korean actress born on January 26, 1989, in Seoul. A graduate of Chung-Ang University, she followed a particularly unconventional career path before becoming an actress: she first worked at Samsung SDS, then as a reporter for the regional network G1. In 2014, her participation in the contest Supermodel at SBS, where she won the Olivia Lauren Award, marked the beginning of her transition into the entertainment industry.

She made her acting debut in 2015 in Twenty Again (20s), before appearing in Splash Splash LOVE. She then gained greater recognition thanks to Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), in which she plays Chae-ryung, and then landed her first leading role in Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. in 2017.

The year 2018 marked an important milestone in her career. She played Han Ji-won in Misty, and then plays the lead role in Come and Hug Me, in which she plays Han Jae-yi/Gil Nak-won. On the big screen, she also plays Eun-sook in Little Forest, alongside Kim Tae-ri and Ryu Jun-yeol, among others. This role earned her critical acclaim and several nominations and awards.

She then cemented her status as a leading actress with The Secret Life of My Secretary (2019), Homemade Love Story / Samgwang Villa Lovers (2020–2021) and From Now On, It's Showtime! (2022). In 2023, she plays Baek Yoon-young in the fantasy and time-travel drama My Perfect Stranger, before playing Joo Yeo-jin in Uncle Samsik (2024) and O Su-a/O Bong-ja in Undercover High School (2025).

In film, Jin Ki-joo is best known for Little Forest (2018) and the thriller Midnight (2021), in which she plays Kim Kyung-mi, a young deaf woman being hunted by a serial killer. She also appears in The Land of Happiness (2024).
