Kang Han-na (강한나), born on January 30, 1989, in Seoul, is a South Korean actress who graduated from Chung-Ang University with a degree in theater. She made her film debut in the early 2010s before gradually establishing herself on television, where she has appeared in a variety of roles, including historical dramas, romantic comedies, and thrillers.
She really caught people's attention in 2016 with Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, in which she plays Princess Hwangbo Yeon-hwa, an ambitious and calculating character who leaves a lasting impression on viewers despite having a supporting role. She then went on to star in Just Between Lovers in 2017, and then Familiar Wife In 2018, two dramas that boosted his visibility.
In 2019, Kang Han-na took on a new role with Designated Survivor: 60 Days, in which she plays Officer Han Na-kyung. The following year, she joined Start-Up as Won In-jae, a determined businesswoman and the heroine's sister. The drama's international success helped her reach a wider audience.
In 2021, she took on a lighter tone with My Roommate Is a Gumiho, where her portrayal of Yang Hye-sun—a former gumiho awkwardly discovering human life—became one of the most beloved roles of her career. She then returned to sageuk with Bloody Heart in 2022, in which she plays the lead role of Yoo Jung.
She's moving on to romantic comedies Frankly Speaking in 2024, then returns to a historical and fantasy setting in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty in 2025. She also appears in Cashero and continues to alternate between mainstream productions and more unique projects.
Among the projects it has announced are The Remarried Empress as well as Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid, where she is set to play one of the lead roles.
