I Went to School

“I Went to School” will tell the story of a middle-aged woman whose life is turned upside down after she decides to enroll in college much later than planned.

Lee Jung-eun will play Yoon Ok-hee, an energetic mother who has never been afraid to get involved in her neighborhood’s affairs. Between her instant tteokbokki restaurant, her family responsibilities, and her many community activities, she already leads a particularly busy life. Yet she decides to take on an unexpected challenge: enrolling in college at an age when many would no longer consider going back to school.

This new adventure will not only allow him to experience student life, but also to meet people who will eventually play an important role in his life.

Opposite her, Sooyoung will play Kang Eun-ho, her eldest daughter, a radio producer and director with a strong personality. Described as a particularly rational person, Eun-ho prioritizes logic over emotions. Frank, pragmatic, and sometimes perceived as cold, she never hesitates to speak her mind.

Lee Sung-jae will play Kang Ji-chul, Yoon Ok-hee's husband and a former boxer who was once considered a legend in his sport. After enjoying a period of glory, his career took a turn for the worse.

For his part, Kang Seung-yoon of WINNER will play Kang Jun, a rowdy, over-the-top eldest son who’s still hard to hate. Always ready to go overboard—whether he’s bragging or being sociable—Kang Jun possesses an unexpected charm that makes him likable despite his flaws.
