After a very busy July for new K-dramas (no fewer than 12 new releases), the broadcast schedule for new Korean series in August 2026 will be a bit lighter, with «only» 7 new releases (so far). But that doesn’t mean we can take it easy! From romance to bromance, check out the new K-dramas that might just have you hooked this month.

My Bias, My Boss

The story of « My Bias, My Boss »follows Nam Da-reum, a young woman who joins a company led by Lee Chan, a former idol turned CEO. There, she meets Kang Ha-gi, the founder of a thriving startup, and finds herself swept up in an unexpected romance set against a backdrop of celebrities, first loves, and professional ambitions.

Flex x Cop 2

Flex x Cop 2 »will star Ahn Bo-hyun as Jin Yi-soo, the heir to a wealthy family who uses his money and connections as valuable assets in his investigations. Alongside him, Jung Eun-chae joins the cast as Joo Hye-ra, the new chief of the violent crimes unit at the Kangha Police Station.

Our Sticky Love »tells the story of Go Eun-sae (Ha Young), an ambitious prosecutor suffering from amnesia, who suddenly finds herself living under the same roof as Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a boxing coach who claims to be in a relationship with her. The story takes place in a peaceful rural village, famous for its shops selling yeot, a traditional Korean confectionery, giving the drama a soft, warm atmosphere.

A Trap Called Desire

A Trap Called Desire » is a daily drama (Monday through Friday) consisting of 100 episodes that follows a woman wrongly accused of murder who loses everything before embarking on a quest for revenge to regain control of her life.

Based on the hit animated film of the same name, « New Recruit » is a dark comedy that follows the daily lives of young soldiers doing their mandatory military service in South Korea, amid camaraderie, the absurdities of barracks life, and hilarious situations.

Four Hands, Two Sonatas

Four Hands, Two Sonatas »tells the story of Kang Bi-oh (Song Kang), a model student recognized as a true piano prodigy, and Choi Jeong-yo (Lee Jun-young), another exceptional musician who, after a difficult childhood, has long sought to escape his own talent. Their meeting at an arts high school will gradually shake up their certainties.
