«Our Sticky Love» tells the story of Go Eun-sae (Ha Young), an ambitious prosecutor suffering from amnesia, who suddenly finds herself living under the same roof as Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a boxing coach who claims to be in a relationship with her. The story unfolds in a peaceful rural village, famous for its shops selling yeot, a traditional Korean confectionery, giving the drama a soft, warm atmosphere.
Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in) is a former junior boxing champion turned gangster, with a brusque but passionate personality. However, he decides to change his life and leaves the gang to become a boxing trainer in a small town. While carrying out his last mission for the gang, he meets his first love, Go Eun-sae, who has lost her memory, and embarks on a life-threatening lie.

Ha Young, will play Go Eun Sae, an ambitious prosecutor in the anti-corruption investigation department of the Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office. She is a skilled prosecutor, renowned for her speed, thoroughness and intelligence. While investigating a crime syndicate, she suffers an accident that causes her to lose her memory. She wakes up in a rural clinic surrounded by traditional Korean candy stores, where she meets Jang Tae Ha, who claims to be her boyfriend.
According to him, their relationship began after they met in the mountains. But with no memories to back up his story, Go Eun-sae remains skeptical and finds it hard to believe this man, who nevertheless seems to know everything about her. As she tries to piece together her identity, he gradually becomes her only possible link to her lost past.

As their life together gives rise to an unexpected romance, the villagers quickly become privileged witnesses to their story.
Among them, Kim Young-ok plays Go Yeon-hong, a master artisan of the yeot and Jang Tae-ha's grandmother, who has dementia. Jeon Bae-soo and Seo Jung-yeon play the owners of the local boxing gym, who will support the young couple throughout their journey.
The drama will also feature a trio of village women nicknamed the «Village S.E.S.,» played by Jang Hye-jin, Cha Chung-hwa, and Kim Mi-hwa, who are expected to bring a good dose of humor to the series.
A romance… but also a thriller
Behind this lighthearted atmosphere, however, lies a darker plot.
Heo Sung-tae plays Baek Sang-gil, the leader of the criminal organization to which Jang Tae-ha once belonged. Convinced that he had killed Prosecutor Go Ji-won (Go Eun-sae’s true identity before she lost her memory), he discovers that she is still alive and decides to go looking for her.

So disappointing. I didn't like a single thing—NOTHING. Hae-In is terrible—he’s not believable at all as this shy gangster. The story is poorly put together, there’s zero chemistry between the main characters, it’s full of inconsistencies, there are fight scenes that make no sense, and I could go on! He fights 50 guys and comes back with his clothes completely intact 🙄 What a joke! And if there’s any blood, it’s totally fake. Oh yeah, there are plenty of fight scenes in this rom-com! A funny scene, followed by a gory one—way to go! I’m giving it 2⭐ for the village trio.
I loved it!!
I love mafia-themed dramas like «My Name» or «Heartless City,» and I also love romances, so this is perfect for me
I'm going to be harsh, but that's my opinion.
If you take away THE main character, I loved it.
She really ruined it for me. I thought that character was super ditzy, and I don't think I liked the actress's performance either. Double whammy.
I love Jung Hae-in, but I really struggled with this romance—even though he’s usually excellent in this genre, I feel like this female character just doesn’t do him justice. No butterflies, no emotion—nothing. And yet he usually makes me melt.
Fortunately, it’s even more outstanding in the action/thriller genre, and I absolutely loved those scenes! That reassured me and allowed me to enjoy the series for that aspect, at least.
I loved all the supporting characters. Actually, all the characters except her—really. I think the romance is just an extra (but negative) element added to a plot that was already very solid without it. His whole backstory—the boxing, the gangsters, his relationship with the boxing coach, his grandma…—that alone was enough to make for a great drama; everything was complete and solid! So I finished it feeling really frustrated. To me, her presence just ruined the whole series…
Sorry for this review—it's just my personal opinion 😊
