With two weeks to go before its launch, « The Affair Was Just the Beginningg » continues to unveil its world. After introducing the main characters, the production team has now released new images showing how the daily lives of two seemingly ordinary families are about to be turned upside down.
Supported by Kim Hye-soo, Cho Yeo-jeong, Kim Ji-hoon and Kim Jae-chul, this drama blends black comedy, thriller, and family drama, centered around a secret that goes far beyond mere adultery.

As we already learned during the character introduction, Kyung-hee (Kim Hye-soo) has built a reputation as a successful woman. An influencer specializing in interior design and the CEO of her own company, she and her husband Jae-hong (Kim Ji-hoon) a couple admired on social media. Now that they've settled into a new home with their daughter, they seem to have everything they need to be happy.
Their neighbors, however, offer a striking contrast. Su-jeong (Cho Yeo-jeong), a renowned dermatologist, is going through a particularly difficult time. Behind her elegant exterior, she is waging a legal battle against her ex-husband Bo-seong (Kim Jae-chul), while she raises their daughter on her own.
The series thus plays on appearances, depicting two families that seem to be polar opposites but who will soon find themselves connected by a single event.
