" Love in Disguise »continues to play with the roles of its two heroes. In two new posters unveiled by tvN, Yim Si-wan and Seol In-ah They take turns stepping into the role of the one who comes to the other’s rescue. This reversal perfectly sums up their strange relationship, which lies somewhere between an undercover investigation and a romantic connection.
The drama will follow Yoon Yi-jun (Yim Si-wan), the third-generation heir to one of Korea's most powerful conglomerates, who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case.
Kang Jae-hee (Seol In-ah), a former special forces member turned detective, is then assigned the task of approaching him. She assumes a false identity and gets hired as his personal secretary so she can investigate him up close. Her disguise is convincing enough that Yi-jun genuinely believes his new secretary is a man.
Seol In-ah protects her boss… who seems perfectly at ease
The first poster turns the usual conventions of romance on their head. It’s Jae-hee who catches up to her boss and holds him tightly in her arms. Her background in special forces is immediately apparent: her posture is steady and confident, as if protecting Yi-jun posed no particular difficulty for her.
His reaction makes the scene even funnier. Far from being embarrassed to find himself in his secretary’s arms, Yi-jun, on the contrary, seems perfectly at ease with the situation. A line accompanies their pose: «You’ve committed a crime. The crime of making my heart beat.»

Whereas the first poster emphasizes the irony created by Jae-hee protecting her boss, the second offers a much more direct glimpse of the attraction that might gradually develop between them.
The phrase used on the poster actually echoes the first one: «You, too, have committed a crime. The crime of making my heart beat.»
These two posters thus encapsulate all the ambiguity that will underpin their relationship. Jae-hee must stay close enough to Yi-jun to find out if he is actually involved in the murder she is investigating, while he remains unaware of both her true identity and her intentions.
But as the distance between the suspect and the woman watching him disappears, their professional relationship clearly risks becoming much more personal.
