Launched on October 15 with four episodes at once, « Make Me Tingle » («You Make My Heart Race») didn’t take long to spark a reaction. On social media, early viewers are praising the chemistry between Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young, the show's humor… and the way it talks about intimacy without beating around the bush or passing judgment.

A chemistry that everyone agrees on
This is the point that comes up most often: the duo of Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-yeong really clicks. Viewers are particularly smitten with Dokgo Dal, the startup CEO played by Kim Jae-yeong. Behind his confident, uninhibited charm, the character turns out to be much more touching than he seems when it comes to Yeon-su.
Without giving too much away, a misunderstanding involving Dal—which Yeon-su keeps going for several episodes—also provides some of the funniest scenes in this season premiere.

A Family Dinner That Has Become a Classic
Another widely discussed moment: the dinner during which Dokgo Dal meets Yeon-su’s very conservative family. Many viewers describe it as the comedic highlight of these first episodes, as the culture clash between the young entrepreneur and the heroine’s traditional relatives is so delightful.

Some fans also notice more subtle details. During a meal, Yeon-su is surprised that Dal serves her first: having been raised in a Confucian family, she has always seen women serving men. It’s a small gesture that speaks volumes about the gap between their two worlds.

Intimate topics discussed openly
As announced, the series doesn’t stop at its catchy premise. From the very first episode, it head-on tackles topics rarely addressed in Korean romantic comedies, such as consent, contraception, and respecting each other’s choices within a relationship.
A scene featuring Yeon-su’s ex-boyfriend—who ignores her decisions and thinks only of himself—particularly resonated with viewers. Many praise the tone, which is both compassionate and honest, addressing these issues with humor but without ever making light of them.
A good start, then, for a series that seemed risky on paper and could very well turn out to be one of this fall's surprises.
