With just over a month to go before its premiere, « Spooky in Love »continues to reveal more about its characters. After introducing the the budding relationship between Cheon Yeo-ri and Prosecutor Ma Gang-wook, and then the mysterious Kang Min-hwan, tvN is now once again focusing on the heroine played by Park Eun-bin.
This new teaser offers a closer look at the woman who runs the country's most prestigious luxury hotel, all while hiding a secret that no one suspects.

A leader feared by those around her
Cheon Yeo-ri is first portrayed through the eyes of her hotel staff. They all describe her as a cold, aloof, and particularly strict boss.
Always wearing gloves and careful to maintain a certain physical distance from others, she comes across as an unapproachable woman. Some even go so far as to accuse her of treating the people around her as if they didn’t exist.

In the teaser, a voice criticizes her behavior, saying, «I don’t understand why ghosts don’t take people like her—who are drunk on their sense of superiority.»
This remark marks a turning point in the video, which then reveals that Cheon Yeo-ri’s attitude is not driven by arrogance, but by a far more disturbing reality.
A secret that haunts her every night
When night falls, the heiress’s life takes on a whole new dimension. Just when everything seems calm, she suddenly senses an unusual presence in her house. Lying in bed, she abruptly opens her eyes and scans the room. A few moments later, she discovers the entity that has come to visit her.
But far from panicking, Cheon Yeo-ri addresses the spirit with surprising calm. Her reaction suggests that encounters like this have long been a part of her daily life.
This new video confirms that the ability to see ghosts will be central to the drama’s plot. It also sheds light on why the character played by Park Eun-bin has gradually cut herself off from the rest of the world.
A remake of the 2011 Korean film «Spellbound,» «Spooky in Love» follows the story of an heiress who can see spirits and Ma Gang-wook (Yang Se-jong), a passionate prosecutor who, unlike her, is terrified of anything supernatural.
This drama will air starting on July 18 on tvN and will also be available on Netflix. Is it on your already packed July watchlist?
