Biography

Bae Na-ra (배나라), born on January 4, 1991 in South Korea, is a South Korean actor and singer. He began his career on stage in 2013 with the musical PROMIS. Over the course of several years, he gained solid experience in musical theater, notably by participating in Zorro, Frankenstein, Kinky Boots, Grease, Thrill Me, West Side Story or even Bonnie and Clyde.

Her move into K-dramas is picking up steam in 2023 with D.P. 2, in which he plays Jang Sung-min. Despite his limited screen time, his character draws attention and helps him gain recognition from a wider audience. That same year, he also joined the cast of the thriller Evilive as Kwon Oh-jae.

The year 2025 truly marked his breakthrough on screen. He really stood out in Weak Hero Class 2, in which he plays Na Baek-jin, a central and formidable figure in the Union. His cool and charismatic performance has established him as one of the standout new faces in action dramas.

He continued that same year with very different styles. In Tastefully Yours, he plays Han Sun-woo, while he appears in the romantic comedy Would You Marry Me? in the role of Baek Sang-hyun. He also returns to a darker world with a cameo in The Manipulated.

In 2026, Bae Na-ra joins the fantasy drama The Wonderfools, in which he plays Kim Pal-ho. This project confirms a career path that is now fully focused on television, without, however, abandoning his roots in musical theater.

Thanks to her stage experience, her stage presence, and her ability to shift from unsettling characters to lighter roles, Bae Na-ra is gradually establishing herself as an actress to watch in contemporary K-dramas.
