Set between 1937 and the present day, the story follows two characters inexplicably linked through time. On one side, an upright lawyer living in the past. On the other, a brilliant forensic investigator in the present.

The two are connected by the same apartment, which becomes the point of passage for nocturnal encounters as brief as they are mysterious.
