The story of The East Palace plunges us into the closed, eerie precincts of the royal palace, where strange phenomena and supernatural entities sow fear. To lift the veil on this curse, the king calls on Gu-cheon, a man capable of traveling between the world of the living and that of spirits.

Behind the scenes, he joins forces with Saeng-gang, a discreet court lady who hides a dark secret. Together, they venture into the most forbidden corners of the palace to unravel its mysteries and confront the ghosts that lurk there. A fragile alliance, born of danger, where every revelation could upset the balance of power.

A Royal Palace Full of Secrets

The newly released images show Gu Cheon completely disoriented as he enters the spirit world. His strange encounter with a supernatural presence foreshadows the dangers that await him in this investigation.

For her part, Saeng Gang seems to be grappling with her own abilities, with a ghost that appears to be whispering directly into her ear.

These events herald a series of troubling incidents linked to the Eastern Palace, a place where the dead still seem to have much to reveal.

The king also draws attention in a photo in which he appears in a Buddhist temple, wearing an expression that is hard to read.

It remains to be seen whether, with the help of Gu Cheon and Saeng Gang, he will be able to uncover the origin of the curse that has befallen his palace.

A Royal Family Shrouded in Mystery

The new previews also feature several characters associated with the court.

The crown prince, played by Kwak Dong-yeon; the queen dowager, played by Jang Young-nam; Prince Ik Sang, played by Tae In-ho; and the royal concubine Suk Bin Choi, played by Hwang Young-hee—all of them will have to deal with the mysterious deaths that are rocking the palace.

Each member of the royal family seems to react differently to the events, leaving viewers to wonder about their secrets and true intentions.
