«If you had a girlfriend, why did you act that way toward me?» That's a question that's likely to seriously complicate Cho Yi-hyun's vacation in « Summer Vacation" .
Set to premiere on October 26 (and we have an international streaming platform, Viki), this new romantic drama has just released a teaser and several posters featuring its main characters. And while the first images promise an almost magical summer encounter between Cho Yi-hyun and Jin Young In the trailer for B1A4's drama, a major obstacle is quickly revealed: the young man is already in a relationship with Hong Ye-ji's character.
Between attraction, jealousy, and threats, what was supposed to be an unforgettable summer could very well turn into a full-blown emotional battle.

In «Summer Vacation,» Cho Yi-hyun plays Kim Ha-yeon, an ordinary high school student who dreams of escaping her everyday life and finally becoming the heroine of her own story.
When she accompanies her father on a business trip to the village of Upo, she meets Jo Yu-gyeom (Jin Young), a boy her age who leads a monotonous life, stifled by the strict rules of his traditional family. At first, their encounter seems to set the stage for a summer romance. But the new teaser reveals that things are far from that simple.
Ha-yeon confronts Yu-gyeom directly: «But if you had a girlfriend, why did you act that way toward me?» The young man doesn’t back down and replies, «You were the one who came up to me first.»
The tone is set. Just as their feelings for each other begin to grow, the presence of a third person is already threatening to drive them apart. That person is Sung Sae-ryung (Hong Ye-ji), Yu-gyeom’s girlfriend. And Yu-gyeom seems fully aware of the danger the situation poses, as he warns Ha-yeon: «Be wary of Sung Sae-ryung.»
A warning that quickly takes on its full meaning when Sae-ryung enters the scene with particularly threatening words: «Today, I’m going to kill you.» « She also makes no secret of her intentions regarding Yu-gyeom: »I’m going to take Jo Yu-gyeom back, no matter what.”
These statements hint at a love triangle in which tensions could quickly escalate beyond mere teenage rivalries. But Ha-yeon clearly has no intention of giving up on Yu-gyeom.
In a line that hints at a deeper dimension to their relationship, she says, «I’m the one who’s going to save Jo Yu-gyeom. And Jo Yu-gyeom will save me, too.»
Behind the jealousy and confrontations, the drama seems to want to tell the story of two teenagers who find in each other a chance to change their lives.
