Directed by Yoo In-shik (« Extraordinary Attorney Woo », «Dr. Romantic»), this historical spy drama takes place over a period of 100 days during the Japanese occupation of Korea.

Her mission brings her into close contact with Hideo Sato (Park Jinyoung), also known as Kim Tae-woong, the adopted son of Shinichi Sato (Jin Sun-kyu).

New images now offer a glimpse of several supporting characters who represent the various social circles and power dynamics of that era.

By day, he works as a practitioner of Korean medicine at a clinic in Jongno, frequented mainly by patients who cannot afford to pay for their care. At night, he carries out his activities with Gugukdan, all while continuing to live modestly.

These characters will round out a world in which each person occupies a very different place in Gyeongseong in 1932. The production thus promises to showcase not only the Gugukdan and the General Government but also the residents of the poor neighborhood where Lee Ga-kyeong lives. Above all, this diversity is expected to further complicate the web of lies at the heart of the drama.

The recent animated posters featuring the main characters also served as a reminder that Almost no one ever fully reveals their true self. Ga-kyeong must maintain her false identity during her undercover mission, while Hideo begins to feel uneasy about the woman he knows is lying to him. Meanwhile, Yoo So-ran recruits Ga-kyeong for this mission by directly asking her to become their spy, while journalist Yoo Philip (Lee Moo-saeng) wages his own battles through his writing.

At the center of these tensions is also Sato Shinichi, a high-ranking government official and Hideo's adoptive father.

Amid false identities, resistance, personal ambitions, and relationships that have become difficult to untangle, «100 Days of Deception» will premiere on October 10 at 9:10 p.m. on tvN and will be available on Netflix.
