Kim Yoo-jung (김유정; 金裕貞) is a South Korean actress born on September 22, 1999, in Seoul. She first came to prominence at the age of four as a commercial model and then as an actress, quickly becoming one of South Korea’s most famous child stars. Thanks to her precocious talent, she went on to play a series of memorable roles in historical and family dramas such as Dong Yi, Moon Embracing the Sun, May Queen, Golden Rainbow and Secret Door, which has earned it the nickname «the Nation’s little sister.».
In 2016, she successfully made the transition to adult roles by playing Hong Ra-on in the hit historical drama Love in the Moonlight, alongside Park Bo-gum. She then cemented her status as a star with Clean with Passion for Now, Backstreet Rookie, Lovers of the Red Sky and the fantasy thriller The 8th Night. At the same time, she has been making a name for herself in film in 20th Century Girl, a nostalgic romance distributed by Netflix and acclaimed internationally.
In 2023, she enjoyed huge success once again with the fantasy romantic comedy My Demon, where her duet with Song Kang captivated audiences around the world.
