Bae Hyun-sung (배현성) is a South Korean actor born on May 3, 1999, in South Korea. He began his career in 2018 and has gradually gained recognition thanks to his roles in several popular TV series.
He made his screen debut in the web series Love Playlist and appeared that same year in What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. In 2019, he starred in the following films The Divine Fury and The Most Ordinary Romance, as well as in the fantasy school drama Extraordinary You.
His fame grew with Hospital Playlist, which aired between 2020 and 2021, in which he plays Jang Hong-do. In 2022, he continued his rise to stardom with several projects, including Dear.M, Gaus Electronics and above all Our Blues, where his portrayal of Jung-hyun has allowed him to reach a wider audience.
Bae Hyun-sung then landed the role of Kang San in Miraculous Brothers in 2023. The following year, he played Kang Hae-jun in Family by Choice, cementing his place among the rising stars of South Korean television. He also makes guest appearances in Hellbound 2 and Love Your Enemy. In 2026, he returned to the screen with The Substitute and has been confirmed for 2027 in the drama High School Queen.
