Born on August 28, 1996, in Gimje, Kim Se-jeong (김세정) is one of the most versatile artists in the Hallyu wave, capable of shining as both a singer and an actress. She rose to fame in 2016 thanks to Produce 101, she placed second in the competition and made her debut with the breakout group I.O.I, before continuing her journey as a member of Gugudan. At the same time, her solo debut quickly became a hit with Flower Way, number one on the Korean charts.
When it comes to K-dramas, she’s been making waves ever since School 2017, but it is her role as the fearsome demon hunter Do Ha-na in The Uncanny Counter which catapulted her into the ranks of the most popular actresses of her generation.
