What if the real challenge in love weren't falling in love, but continuing to choose the same person 10 years later? That's the question at the heart of « A Love Other Than Yours«, the new romantic K-drama starring Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin, which begins this September 12, 2026, on Prime Video.
For once, this isn't the usual story of two strangers who meet, grow closer, and gradually fall in love. When the story begins, Namgoong Ho and Lee Mi-do have been together for 10 years already. It’s a reminder that despite its very adult subject matter, A Love Other Than Yours doesn't seem to be meant to be merely melancholic.
Above all, the drama has a valuable element for telling its story: its two protagonists aren't simply portrayed as a couple on the verge of breaking up. They have a history.
They've known each other since they were seven years old, were friends before falling in love, and have built a relationship together that has now lasted a decade. This means that every doubt and every new emotion has the potential to call into question much more than just a simple love story.
