Jung Hae-in and Ha Young are set to form a duo as mysterious as it is unexpected in « Our Sticky Love«. Netflix's new romantic drama has just released its first teasers, offering a glimpse into a story that blends romance, memory loss, and secrets.
Billed as a heartwarming romantic comedy, the series will follow Go Eun-sae, a prosecutor suffering from amnesia whose life is turned upside down after an accident. With no memory of her past, she suddenly finds herself living with Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach who claims to be her boyfriend.
Their unexpected living arrangement takes place in the peaceful rural village of Gujin, known for its yeot shops, which sell traditional Korean sweets. This setting lends a warm atmosphere to this story, which is as surprising as its title.
A brilliant prosecutor who loses everything overnight
The teaser highlights the contrast between Go Eun-sae's old life and her new one.
Before she lost her memory, she was a confident prosecutor working for the Anti-Corruption Investigation Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office. But everything changes when she wakes up in the hospital unable to prove who she really is.
The drama's poster perfectly sums up her situation with the phrase: «No past, no evidence. He's my only lead!»
Standing beside him, Jang Tae-ha seems much more relaxed. Yet his arrival immediately raises many questions.
A boyfriend who's impossible to verify
Jang Tae-ha appears before Go Eun-sae, claiming to be her boyfriend.
According to him, their relationship began after they met in the mountains. But with no memories to back up his story, Go Eun-sae remains skeptical and finds it hard to believe this man, who nevertheless seems to know everything about her. As she tries to piece together her identity, he gradually becomes her only possible link to her lost past.
But «Our Sticky Love» won’t be just a simple romance. The teaser also introduces Baek Sang-gil, played by Heo Sung-tae, a crime boss who appears to be connected to the events surrounding the two characters.
In particular, scenes show Go Eun-sae and Jang Tae-ha being pursued by an unknown threat, hinting at a plot that blends romantic comedy and suspense.
With forgotten secrets, feelings to rediscover, and mysteries to solve, «Our Sticky Love» will be available on Netflix on August 7.
