The story follows Cha Ji-yoon, an office worker in the seventh year of her career, in the midst of a professional and sentimental crisis. To avoid "the worst" in her working environment, she chooses "the lesser evil": her direct superior Kang Si-woo, a boss feared for his cold temperament but irresistible in his own way. Little by little, these two opposing characters become irreplaceable support for each other, transforming their professional relationship into an unexpected complicity.

In the series, Kang Si-woo is known within his company for his aloof and rigid demeanor. Obsessed with efficiency and rules, he is nicknamed the “3 NOs Man”: no smiles, no closeness with others, and no excuses. Always dressed in impeccable suits, Kang Si-woo projects a calm yet extremely strict demeanor. His serious gaze and perpetually stern expression reinforce his image as an unapproachable superior.

Even when he works with his colleagues, he maintains a clear emotional distance, creating a tense atmosphere around him.
