Paradise will tell the story of Kang Chi Young, a journalist, and Cha Jung Won, a police officer, who find themselves caught up in an event as mysterious as it is unimaginable. Together, they will attempt to uncover secrets that have been buried for many years and bring the truth to light.
Lee Jong Suk is currently in negotiations to play Kang Chi Young, while Park Ji Hyun has been offered the role of Cha Jung Won. If both actors confirm their participation, they will form an unprecedented duo in a thriller that is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated dramas.
The project has a particularly strong track record. The screenplay was written by Kim Su Jin, who won an award at the Baeksang Arts Awards for Beyond Evil, considered one of the best Korean thrillers of recent years.
