The «Bitch X Rich» universe could soon expand.
According to several Korean media outlets, the hit franchise is set to return with a new series titled «Bitch X Rich: Royal Camp» (working title). The project is said to still be set at the prestigious Cheongdam International High School, but with an all-new story and new characters. Singer and actress Miyeon from the group I-dle has reportedly been cast in the lead role.
A universe that continues to expand
Launched in 2023, «Bitch X Rich» quickly established itself as one of the most popular Korean high school dramas internationally. The series follows the rivalries, ambitions, and power struggles at Cheongdam International High School, a school reserved for the elite.
The second season, which aired in 2025, further expanded this universe. Kim Hye-in (Lee Eun-saem), who had become the prime suspect following Oh Si-eun’s death, found herself at the center of new power struggles within Diamond 6.
The first teaser showed Hye-in pleading with Baek Je-na (Yeri): «Just this once, help me. Please.»
This unexpected new alliance between the two rivals had profoundly disrupted the balance at the high school. Season 2 also introduced several new characters, including Lee Sa-rang, Cha Jin-wook, and the school’s new principal, while Kim Hae-in’s return from her coma reignited many mysteries.
The success of the first two seasons now seems to be encouraging the producers to further develop this universe.
A New Intake Camp in Cheongdam
«Bitch X Rich: Royal Camp» would retain the setting of the famous high school but feature an entirely new story.
The plot is set during a selection camp for prospective students hoping to enroll at Cheongdam International High School. At the center of the story are, among others, the illegitimate daughter of the Taeyang Group chairman, who has come seeking her family’s recognition, and the new queen of the high school.
The conflict between these two young women is expected to be at the heart of the story.
Miyeon is tipped to become the new queen
Miyeon is said to have received an offer to play Se-mi. As the only daughter of the Taeyang family, she grew up like a true princess thanks to the support of her maternal family. The character is described as an elegant, aloof young woman who is particularly conscious of her social status.
Se-mi is also said to be the new «queen» of Cheongdam, taking over from the establishment’s previous leading figures.
Following «Replay: The Moment» and «Her Bucket List,» this role could be the most ambitious project of Miyeon’s acting career.
For now, the production team is still casting, and no air date has been announced. However, this new chapter could allow the «Bitch X Rich» universe to continue captivating audiences around the world.
