Go Youn-jung (고윤정) is a South Korean actress and model born on April 22, 1996, in Seoul. She studied contemporary art at Seoul Women’s University before beginning her career as a model. She worked for several major brands before joining MAA Entertainment to pursue her acting career.
She made her television debut in 2019 in He Is Psychometric, in which she plays Kim So-hyun. The following year, she appeared in The School Nurse Files and then in the Netflix series Sweet Home, in which she plays Park Yu-ri. In 2021, she joined the legal drama Law School as Jeon Ye-seul.
His career took on a new dimension with Alchemy of Souls. After making her first appearance in 2022, she became one of the main characters in Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow, in which she plays Nak-su, Cho Yeong, and Jin Bu-yeon. This role significantly boosted her popularity.
In 2023, she enjoyed renewed success with Moving, in which she plays Jang Hui-soo, a high school student with an exceptional ability to regenerate. She then appears in Death's Game as Lee Ji-su. In 2024, she briefly reprised her role as Jang Hui-soo in Light Shop.
In 2025, Go Youn-jung plays the lead role in Resident Playbook, a spin-off series of Hospital Playlist. In it, she plays a young medical resident grappling with the challenges of her training and her professional life.
In 2026, she will take on two new leading roles. In Can this love be translated?, she plays Cha Mu-hui, and she also joins We're All Trying Here in another leading role. She is also set to reprise the role of Jang Hui-soo in Moving Season 2.
Go Youn-jung makes her film debut in a spy thriller Hunt in 2022. Her performance earned her several nominations in categories for new actresses. Thanks to roles that blend fantasy, action, romance, and drama, she has quickly established herself as one of the most popular actresses of her generation.
