Oh Ye-ju (Oh Ye-ju) is a South Korean actress and model born on October 5, 2004, in Seoul. She was scouted outside her school even though she had no plans to pursue a career in the arts, and she joined Rain Company, the agency founded by singer and actor Rain. She is also continuing her studies at Dongduk Women’s University.
She began her career in 2021 with a small role in the series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, in which she plays the teenage version of Yoon Hye-jin. The following year, she appeared in From Now On, It's Showtime! before gaining recognition for her role as Yoon Cheong-ha in the historical drama Under the Queen's Umbrella. Her portrayal of this lively and endearing young woman has helped her gain popularity with the public.
In 2023, she continued her rise to fame with a major role in The Matchmakers, in which she plays Jo Ye-jin. In 2024, she took on several projects in a row, playing the teenage versions of the main characters in No Gain No Love and Love Your Enemy. That same year, she joined the cast of the Disney+ series Gangnam B-Side in the role of Kang Ye-seo and made her film debut in the movie Troll Factory, in which she plays Lee Eun-chae.
Also in 2024, she played the lead role in the TV movie Drama Special: To My Lonely Sister, in which she plays Yoo Ha-neul. Her performance was praised by critics and earned her the Best Actress in a Short Drama award at the 2024 KBS Drama Awards.
In 2026, Oh Ye-ju continued to build her career with the lead role of Song Ha-dam in In Your Radiant Season. She also appears in Phantom Lawyer in a special guest appearance as Kim Su-ah. The following year, she landed her first major leading role in the series Excitatio, in which she plays Gong Ha-rang.
Although she is still early in her career, Oh Ye-ju has already established herself as one of the most promising young actresses of her generation. Thanks to her natural screen presence and a filmography that blends historical dramas, contemporary romances, and thrillers, she continues to build a notable career in the South Korean film and television industry.
