Lee Sung-kyung plays Song Ha-ran, creative director of Nana Atelier, South Korea’s most prestigious high-end fashion house. Brilliant, elegant, and a perfectionist, Ha-ran seems to lead a flawless life. Yet behind this polished facade lies a woman deeply scarred by the loss of her loved ones, who has built an emotional wall to ensure she never suffers again.

Lee Mi-sook plays Kim Nana, a leading figure in Korean fashion and founder of Nana Atelier. A first-generation designer, she has built her world on strict principles and absolute standards. Her natural authority, sharp eyes and impeccable posture command respect, both in her work and within her family, of which she remains the discreet but essential pillar. However, an unexpected turn of events shakes up this perfectly mastered life: the reappearance of her first love, long buried in memories.

Opposite her, Kang Suk-woo lends his features to Park Man-jae, a barista who runs the «Shim» café, tucked away in a quiet alleyway. After retirement, Man-jae leads a simple, peaceful existence, offering a listening ear and comfort to those who cross his path. It's through Song Ha-ran, interpreted by Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Nana and Park Man-jae meet again, years after losing touch with each other.

3 sisters, 3 ways to survive

At the heart of the story are also three sisters (Song Ha-ran, Song Ha-young, and Song Ha-dam) raised by their grandmother, Kim Nana, after a tragedy that shattered their home. Each tries to move forward in her own way, revealing what it means to carry on living after an irreparable loss.

The eldest of her siblings, Song Ha-ran, played by Lee Sung-kyung, has learned to suppress her emotions by taking refuge in her work. Under pressure from her grandmother, she became head designer at Nana Atelier, but leads a locked life, keeping her distance to avoid further injury.

The youngest, Song Ha-young, played by Han Ji-hyeon, is a junior designer on the creative team. Smiling, spontaneous and full of energy, she brings a welcome light to a house full of things left unsaid. Yet behind her apparent optimism, she hides deep scars.

The youngest daughter, Song Ha-dam, played by Oh Ye-ju, Her mother is a role model in the eyes of her grandmother, and a source of affection for her sisters.
