Yoon Kye-sang (윤계상; 尹啓相) is a South Korean actor and singer born on December 20, 1978, in Seoul. He began his career in 1999 as a member of the legendary boy band g.o.d, one of the most popular groups of the first generation of K-pop. After several years of musical success, he chose to focus on comedy, a career change that has allowed him to gradually establish himself as a recognized actor.
His film debut in Flying Boys These roles earned him the Baeksang Arts Award for Best New Actor right off the bat. He then went on to take on a series of roles in film and television, including Crazy for You, Who Are You?, The Greatest Love, High Kick: Revenge of the Short-Legged and The Good Wife. On the big screen, he also stands out in Poongsan, Minority Opinion and above all The Outlaws (2017), in which his portrayal of the fearsome gangster Jang Chen was universally praised and marked a turning point in his career.
In recent years, Yoon Kye-sang has cemented his status as a leading actor thanks to his acclaimed performances in Crime Puzzle, Kiss Sixth Sense and The Day of the Kidnapping. In 2025, he returned to television with the series Try: We Become Miracles, in which he plays a former athlete turned coach, and Heroes Next Door. He was then cast in Got It in 2027, while the series The Couple Are Playing is also among his upcoming projects.
