«Pyramid» will tell the story of The Rise and Fall of Lee Jang-hoon, described as the biggest financial fraudster in Korean history.

The drama is highly anticipated, as it marks the return of screenwriter Park Kyung-soo, who has created several critically acclaimed series such as «The Chaser,» «Empire of Gold,» «Punch,» «Whisper,» and «The Whirlwind» on Netflix.

Park Sun-ho, best known for «Business Proposal» and «Undercover Miss Hong,» will direct the series, while Studio S and Pan Entertainment will handle production.

If the talks are successful, Yoon Kye-sang is expected to play the lead role in this story centered on the rise and fall of a massive financial fraudster.
