Adapted from a popular Korean webtoon and web novel, the series brings us plunges into the unexpected daily life of a soldier who swaps rifle and ammunition for a kitchen knife and apron. Far from the battlefield, Kitchen Soldier explores the life of an army cook who, instead of aiming at the enemy, targets his comrades' stomachs and perhaps a little their morale too.
Very, very good and funny. I find myself waiting for the next episode, wondering if it could get any worse, but it does. They're all excellent, the story is simple and moving, and you'll be thrilled every episode because it's refreshingly funny and the actors are endearing.
