Aired in Japan on TBS, Unnatural followed a team of medical examiners tasked with investigating suspicious deaths to uncover the truth. The series was a huge success and won several awards, including Best Drama, Best Actress, and Best Screenplay at the Television Drama Academy Awards.
YoonA will play Im Do-eun, a medical examiner working in the UDI unit, which specializes in investigating unnatural deaths.

Cha Kang-yoon will play the role of Kang Ji-sung, a medical student assigned to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine as part of his public service.
Coming from a prestigious family of doctors, Kang Ji-sung is studying medicine more out of a sense of obligation than out of any real calling. Still searching for his own path, he also begins to develop feelings for Im Do-eun, the character offered to YoonA, adding a romantic element to the plot.
Park Yoo-young, known for The Day of the Kidnapping. The announcement of the project has already generated a great deal of interest, thanks in large part to YoonA’s popularity, as she has enjoyed one success after another in recent years.
