After a slight drop in viewership last week, « Love in Disguise » (known as «Love Undercover» in French) is gaining momentum again. And Episode 4, which aired this Tuesday, could very well mark a turning point in the relationship between its two main characters. During a tense family dinner, Kang Jae-hee will discover a whole new side to the man she’s been watching.

A rising audience
According to Nielsen Korea, Episode 3 of the tvN series drew a national audience rating of 4.9 %, up 0.2 points from the previous episode (4.7 %). This is an encouraging increase following the slight the decline that followed its successful launch at 5.6 %.
The stakes in Episode 4 are high. Shortly before the murder of his secretary, Han Eun-young (Jung Yoo-min), Yoon Yi-jun’s father, Yoon Tae-sik (Choi Jin-ho), had ordered him to take the helm of the Taegang Group without causing any scandal.
A miss. Having become the prime suspect in the murder, Yoon Yi-jun saw his position as heir apparent begin to waver. Although he was released after questioning due to a lack of direct evidence, he has not been cleared of all suspicion.
A sister with a nose for opportunity
The danger also comes from within the family. Yoon Na-jung, her second-oldest sister and an executive within the group—played by Park Ah-in—makes no secret of her ambition: to use her brother’s crisis as a stepping stone for herself.
And she seems to be very interested in Kang Jae-hee (Seol In-ah), his brother's new secretary, which further complicates the battle for the succession.
A Dinner Full of Tension
The new images show Yoon Yi-jun and Kang Jae-hee at a family dinner held just before the announcement of the group’s future successor. At the table, the heir stares intently at his father, while the latter remains seated, looking somber.
Another image shows Yoon Na-jung approaching Kang Jae-hee privately while she waits outside. What does she want from him? And could this encounter jeopardize her undercover mission?
Above all, this dinner could change the relationship between the two protagonists. Kang Jae-hee grew up in a loving family. As she discovers the conflicts and strained relationships within the Yoon family, she will begin to see the man she is supposed to expose in a different light.
A first step, perhaps, toward the romance the series has promised.
Episode 4 of «Love in Disguise» will air this Tuesday, October 27, at 8:50 p.m. (Korean time)—which is 12:50 p.m. in France—on tvN and will be available on Prime Video.
