A few days before its release, « Love in Sync »unveils a new teaser centered on Yoo Ji-an, the character played by Kang Min-ah.
This new video offers a better understanding of the challenges the young celebrity faces, while further exploring the mysterious emotional connection between her and psychologist Cha Eun-hwan, played by Kim Myung-soo.
A Celebrity on the Brink
The teaser opens with Yoo Ji-an, an actress and celebrity who is going through the most difficult period of her career.
She explains that she has suffered several consecutive setbacks: a canceled project, a scam, and public humiliation, all of which have severely weakened her position. Behind her cold and sometimes distant demeanor, Yoo Ji-an is actually hiding deep emotional wounds.
As she tries to overcome this crisis, she finds herself drawn to Cha Eun-hwan, a particularly empathetic psychologist.
A mysterious connection between the two heroes
The drama revolves around a supernatural phenomenon that causes the two characters to feel each other's emotions.
Unable to make sense of what was happening, Yoo Ji-an went to see a doctor and confided, «Whenever I’m near a man, I feel like his emotions are being transmitted to me… It sounds strange, doesn’t it?»
Later, she finally confessed directly to Cha Eun-hwan: «I feel your emotions exactly as if they were my own. It’s as if we share the same heart.»
This emotional connection, at the heart of the drama, could very well transform their relationship.
Feelings That Are Beginning to Emerge
Just as a major career opportunity finally presents itself to Yoo Ji-an, the young woman finds herself faced with a difficult choice.
He is warned: «If you let this opportunity slip by, it could be very difficult to come back.»
During this time of uncertainty, Cha Eun-hwan stays by her side. When he jokingly asks her, «Has some of my inner peace rubbed off on you?» Yoo Ji-an gradually begins to develop feelings for him.
But the teaser ends with a new twist when Cha Eun-hwan tells her, «Now I’m starting to hear your feelings instead of my own.»
After initially allowing Yoo Ji-an to experience the psychologist's emotions, the phenomenon now seems to work both ways.
«Love in Sync» will premiere on July 4 at 10:50 p.m. on KBS2 and on Disney+ (to be confirmed in France).
