A week to catch up on several K-dramas without needing a paid subscription. As part of its K-Drama Day 2026, Viki is preparing a new edition of its event for fans of Korean TV series, featuring dramas available for free, as well as interviews, exclusive content, and several special promotions.
K-Drama Day is officially celebrated on September 25. For the 2026 edition, however, Viki has planned activities around that date, with new content being rolled out gradually to fans.
One of the main promotions involves 10 K-dramas that will be available to watch for free September 25 through October 1 in eligible regions.
10 K-dramas to Watch for Free on Viki
The selection blends several genres and includes, in particular, some recent dramas. During this period, the ten titles in question are:
- " Spirit Fingers "
- " To My Beloved Thief "
- " Positively Yours "
- " IDOL I "
- " Last Summer "
- " Love Me "
- " Ms. Incognito Incognito "
- " A Bona Fide Killer "
- " First Lady "
- " The Scarecrow "
Free admission is scheduled for September 25 through October 1, with availability subject to variation by country.
Viki also organized a vote to select the «2026 Global Fan Favorite K-Drama.» Originally scheduled to end earlier, the vote has been extended until September 24. The winning drama is set to be announced on September 25, on K-Drama Day, before being featured on billboards around the world.
Interviews, actors, and other surprises on the program
Viki isn't limiting this special edition to just offering free dramas. The platform has prepared a variety of content featuring personalities from the world of K-dramas.
Bae In-hyuk, currently associated with « Our Universe », is among the actors highlighted, while So Jae-hyun, director of « Dive Into You », is also taking part in an interview. Kim Ji-yeon, Park Seo-ham, Jang Se-hyuk, and Moon Seung-you are also set to appear together in content related to «Dive Into You».
Viki's official schedule also lists several events to be announced over the coming days, including interviews with directors and Bae In-hyuk, leading up to the main celebration on September 25.
Several partner promotions are also taking place in conjunction with the event. Depending on the region and applicable terms and conditions, some of these promotions include benefits related to Viki or its partners. In France, users of certain LG TVs are among those eligible for a one-month trial of Viki Pass Standard, valid through October 18.
For K-drama fans, however, the most important thing is still this window on the September 25 through October 1, during which the 10 selected series will be available to watch for free on Viki in the relevant regions.
