Choi Hyun-wook (Choi Hyun-wook) is a South Korean actor born on January 30, 2002, in Incheon. Passionate about baseball during his youth, he first attended Gangneung High School and played on its baseball team before deciding to pursue a different path. He then continued his studies at Hanlim Multi Art School in the Broadcasting and Entertainment Department, from which he graduated in 2019.
He made his acting debut that same year in the web series Real:Time:Love, in which he plays Moon Ye-chan. He continued to portray this character throughout the series' four seasons, until 2020, and also appeared that year in Pop Out Boy!.
In 2021, he gained even more attention thanks to Taxi Driver and above all Racket Boys, in which he plays Na Woo-chan. These two roles earned him the Best New Actor award at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards. He also makes an appearance in Jirisan that same year.
His popularity grew in 2022 with Twenty-Five Twenty-One, in which he plays Moon Ji-woong, and then with Weak Hero Class 1, in which he plays Ahn Soo-ho. He later reprises this role in Weak Hero Class 2 in 2025. He also appears in the second season of D.P..
In 2023, he took on two new leading roles in Twinkling Watermelon, in which he plays Lee-chan, and High Cookie, playing the role of Seo Ho-soo. In 2025, he played Ban Joo-yeon in the romantic comedy My Dearest Nemesis and made his film debut in a supporting role in Mantis. He also makes a cameo appearance in the movie Good News.
In 2026, he played the lead role of Lee Gang in Notes from the Last Row and is also included in the distributions of Delusion and Dead-End Job. Among its announced projects are Green Light, in which he will play Han Tae-yang, and Soul in 2027, as well as the movie Vampire, scheduled for 2028.
