Kim Shin-rok (Kim Shin-rok), born on March 24, 1981, is a South Korean actress who works in theater, film, and television. After appearing in several short films and independent films, she gradually gained recognition from the general public thanks to a number of particularly memorable supporting roles.
She began her film career in the 2000s, notably appearing in Dating Rules, before appearing in Burning in 2018. His television career really took off starting in 2020 with The Cursed, in which she plays Seok-hee.
In 2021, it experienced significant growth thanks to Beyond Evil, playing the role of police officer Oh Ji-hwa. She also appears in You Are My Spring, One Ordinary Day and above all Hellbound, where her portrayal of Park Jung-ja is particularly noteworthy. She reprises this role in Hellbound 2 in 2024.
The following years cemented her reputation as a character actress. In 2022, she played Jin Hwa-young in Reborn Rich and appears in A Model Family. In 2023, she plays key roles in The Day of the Kidnapping, Shadow Detective 2, Moving and Sweet Home 2. She continues this latest series with Sweet Home 3 in 2024 and makes an appearance in The Queen of Tears.
In the movie, she plays Beom-dong in Uprising and Yang Kyung-jin in The Plot in 2024, and then appears in Project Y in 2025.
In 2025, she landed two major new television roles: Seo Myeong-ju in Undercover High School and Jin Myeong-suk in Your Taste.
In 2026, she continued her busy schedule with Fifties Professionals, in which she plays District Attorney Kang Yeong-ae, as well as the series Road, playing the role of Lee Yun-ok. She also plays one of the film's leading roles Colony, directed by Yeon Sang-ho.
It is also announced in Soul in 2027 and is expected to take over the role of Yeo Un-gyu in Moving 2.
