Gong Myung (공명), whose real name is Kim Dong-hyun (김동현), is a South Korean actor born on May 26, 1994. He made his debut in the entertainment industry as a member of the actor-idol group 5urprise, launched by the agency Fantagio. He is also the older brother of Doyoung, a member of the group NCT.
After a few appearances in short films and independent films, he began his television career with web series After School: Lucky or Not (2013) and After School: Lucky or Not 2 (2014). He then landed supporting roles in Hwajung (Splendid Politics), Beautiful You, Entertainer and Drinking Solo, which are helping him gradually gain visibility.
In 2017, Gong Myung played Bi-ryum, the god of wind, in the fantasy series The Bride of Habaek, before moving on to Revolutionary Love. He also plays the lead role in the TV movie The Happy Loner, praised for his sensitive performance.
