Shin Hye-sun (Shin Hye-sun), born on August 31, 1989, in Seoul, is a South Korean actress. She made her television debut in 2012 in School 2013, before going on to play several supporting roles in Angel Eyes, High School King of Savvy, Oh My Ghostess and She Was Pretty.
It gained visibility in 2016 thanks to Five Enough, where her romantic character was a huge hit with audiences. That same year, she appeared in The Legend of the Blue Sea. His career took on a new dimension in 2017 with the thriller Stranger, and especially with My Golden Life. This series, in which she plays the lead role, has surpassed 40 % in viewership ratings in South Korea and has greatly contributed to her fame.
In 2018, she cemented her status as a headliner with Thirty But Seventeen and plays the soprano Yun Sim-deok in The Hymn of Death. She continues with Angel's Last Mission: Love in 2019, and then enjoyed another major success thanks to the historical comedy Mr. Queen in 2020–2021, in which she plays Queen Kim So-yong, who is possessed by the spirit of a modern-day man.
After a brief hiatus from television, she's returning in 2023 with See You in My 19th Lifethen Back to Samdal-ri, in which she plays a photographer returning to her hometown. In 2024, she portrays two contrasting characters in To My Haeri.
On the big screen, she has appeared notably in A Violent Prosecutor, A Day, Innocence and Collectors. She then went on to play the lead roles in Brave Citizen and Following, confirming his ability to switch between comedy, thriller, romance, and drama.
In 2026, she continued her career with The Art of Sarah and The Files of Love. Among the projects it has announced are also One Twenty-Fourth Romance and Dash.
