Jeon So-nee (전소니) is a South Korean actress born on March 20, 1991. She graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, where she studied in the Broadcasting and Entertainment Department. Her mother, Go Jae-suk, was a member of the musical duo Bunny Girls in the 1970s.
She made her acting debut in 2014 in the independent film Photo, while she was still a student. Her interest in the field grew largely as a result of her participation in several short films directed by film students.
After appearing in several roles in independent films, Jeon So-nee is drawing more attention with Encounter in 2018, in which she played Jo Hye-in. In 2020, she landed one of her first major television roles in When My Love Blooms, in which she plays the younger version of Yoon Ji-soo.
In 2021, she played the lead role in Scripting Your Destiny, before continuing in 2023 with the historical drama Our Blooming Youth. In it, she plays Min Jae-yi, also known as Go Sun-dol.
That same year, she appeared in the movie Soulmate alongside Kim Da-mi, playing the role of Go Ha-eun. In 2024, she took a completely different direction with the fantasy-horror series Parasyte: The Grey. In it, she plays Jeong Su-in, a young woman whose body is partially taken over by an alien parasite. Her performance earned her several nominations.
In 2025, Jeon So-nee will star in two lead roles on Netflix. In Melo Movie, she plays Son Joo-a, a screenwriter, while in the thriller As You Stood By, she plays Cho Eun-su. She also appears in the final episodes of Taxi Driver Season 3.
In 2026, she plays a supporting role in If Wishes Could Kill, in which she plays Kang Ha-young, also known as Haetsal.
Jeon So-nee is set to appear in several major projects in 2027. She is set to play one of the leading roles in The Man Called H, as well as that of Kong Hu-gyeong in The Facade of Love. She is also set to appear in the movie Runner's Guide.
