«Destroyer King» tells the story of an elite hitman who spent 10 years in organized crime.

For reasons that remain unknown, this man finds himself assigned to a police witness protection unit. Accustomed to efficiently eliminating his targets, he must now use his skills to protect victims under threat. Lee Do-hyun is reportedly being considered to play this lead character, described as a formidable assassin who uses his own methods to carry out his missions.

The drama promises plenty of action sequences and is expected to combine confrontations, investigations, and witness protection in a particularly dangerous world.

Update, July 9: TenAsia reported that actress Jeon So-nee had been cast in director Shin Kyung-soo’s new project; Shin is best known for Six Flying Dragons, The Nokdu Flower or the series The First Responders.

In this new drama, Jeon So-nee is set to play a police officer who specializes in supporting victims as part of a unit dedicated to women and minors.
