Adapted from the novel by Kang Ji-young, the series follows Jung Ji An, a young woman who discovers the secret and dangerous legacy hidden behind her uncle's seemingly mundane business. After surviving a first wave of assassins, she must now face even more fearsome killers.
After being left for dead at the end of the first season, Jin-man returns more alive than ever. This sequel will focus in particular on his still-mysterious past, as well as the events that took place during his absence.
In this new season, Jeong Ji-an, now the head of Murthehelp, will reunite with her uncle to fight the Babylon organization, whose influence has now spread worldwide.
The new images show Jin-man preparing his counterattack with the members of Murthehelp, while devising a grand plan against his enemies.
Lee Dong-wook explained that viewers will get to see a more personal side of his character: «It’s an honor to return for Season 2 and to play Jeong Jin-man once again. He’s a character who doesn’t usually show much emotion, but this season will give viewers a glimpse of moments when he does let them show.»
Jeong Ji-an Finally Takes Control
In the first season, Jeong Ji-an was suddenly confronted with the secret legacy left by her uncle Jeong Jin-man, played by Lee Dong-wook. Hunted by assassins without understanding why, her only goal was to survive.
The new season will feature a completely different heroine. Now at the helm of Murthehelp, Ji-an exudes a newfound confidence and authority.
The Murthehelp Guardians Are Back
The new images highlight the reunion between Min-hye, Pasin, and Brother—three key allies who join Jin-man and Ji-an in their fight.
Min-hye, played by Geum Hae-na, is an S-class assassin working for Murthehelp. The photos show both sides of the character: a protective and warm demeanor when she’s with Ji-an, but also a much colder and more menacing look when she faces her enemies.
Three new, particularly dangerous enemies
Jung Yun-ha performs Kusanagi, the head of the East Asia division. Driven by a thirst for power, she alternates between an impressive calm and a much more explosive personality, depending on the situation.
At his side, Hyunri embodies Q, the head of field operations. Always in control of herself, she leads missions with a composure that makes her a particularly formidable opponent.
Finally, the Japanese actor Masaki Okada joins the cast as J, a killer as unpredictable as he is talented, whose fighting style is sure to bring a new dynamic to the battles.
