The drama " Perfect Crown »continues to unveil its universe with the release of a new teaser, offering a glimpse of the relationship between IU and Byeon Woo-seok in this romance set in an alternate Korea.

In this world where modern Korea is a constitutional monarchy, the story follows Sung Hee-joo, heiress to a powerful chaebol, and the Grand Prince Yi An, son of the king but condemned to remain in the shadows.

An influential prince trapped by his status

The teaser opens with the intense gaze of the Prince Yi An, who seems to run the royal court in practice, despite the presence of a young king.

Respected by the people for his charisma and natural dignity, he is nevertheless limited by his position as 2nd son in the royal family, unable to claim the throne.

This situation also attracts the attention and suspicion of certain members of the court, notably Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-rang, played by Gong Seung-yeon.

A relationship that changes everything

If Yi An usually appears cold and distant, he reveals a softer side when confronted with Sung Hee-joo.

In several scenes in the teaser, he tries to reassure her by saying: « Don't move. » « Are you scared? » « This is for you. "

In a lighter moment, the 2 characters even share a waltz, showing a relationship that seems to be evolving far beyond a simple agreement.

Their contract marriage, concluded to change their destiny, marks the beginning of a transformation for the prince, who seems to be discovering a new facet of his life.

Danger hanging over the royal family

But this relationship doesn't develop without threats. The teaser hints at mysterious forces targeting Prince Yi An, while the dowager queen coldly declares, «If we want to hunt, we need patience.»
