Park Bo-gum's hair salon is set to welcome some famous faces. A new teaser for « The Village Barber 2 »reveals the special guests for this second season: Jisoo of BLACKPINK, Ahn Eun-jin, Heo Sung-tae, and Uhm Ji-won. And tvN has finally set the premiere date: Sunday, November 29.".
Four guests who came to lend a hand
In the teaser, one of the guests humorously introduces himself as an employee who has come to «do a one-day job.» The concept is simple: for one day, these celebrities come to lend a hand to Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi and Ko Kyung-pyo in their living room in Tongyeong, a small seaside village.
The production promises that «Bogum Magical»—the show’s Korean title—will be even more compelling thanks to this «truly exceptional» lineup of guests.
Strong ties with the trio
Each of these guests has a special connection to the team.
Ahn Eun-jin is a longtime friend of Lee Sang-yi: the two actors were in the same class at the Korea National University of Arts. It’s a nice way to return the favor, since Lee Sang-yi is actually a surprise appearance in «A Love Other Than Yours», the series by Ahn Eun-jin.
Heo Sung-tae He, for his part, starred alongside Park Bo-gum in « Good Boy ». Fans will also see him again starting November 16 in «Crash 2,» where he reprises his role as the leader of the T.C.I. team.".
Uhm Ji-won, an established actress, will also star in « The Substitute », the TVING thriller set to premiere on November 23.
As for Jisoo, an actress and member of Blackpink; her involvement had already been reported by the Korean media in September. The teaser officially confirms it.
Park Bo-gum, Now a Certified Hairstylist
As a reminder, Park Bo-gum is heading into this season with a new skill: after failing the exam the first time, he has earned his national cosmetology license and can now perform perms himself. This talent, however, won’t stop him from struggling with the local dialect, as the previous teaser showed.
